How does LiveSign® work? The main display can show timetabled information for up to ten locations (eg. meeting rooms, lecture theatres etc). Up to two events per location will be continuously displayed in chronological order, additional events are shown on a moving ticker display.
The current event for each location will be shown until it is scheduled to end, after which it is automatically removed from the display and the next event moves up the list.
The LiveSign® Master Unit (LMU) can drive more than one display, either separately wired to a number of identical displays or via a standard LAN to a LiveSign® Slave Unit (LSU). The LSU can be set to display a repeat of the main display or its own (local) display which shows only the information relating to that location. In addition the local display can incorporate a live feed. All settings are made centrally and messages and warnings (eg fire alarm) are sent to each location. Sounds can be played on both the main and local screens.
Who could use LiveSign®? LiveSign has been designed with user friendliness particularly in mind and anyone familiar with surfing the internet or regular office computer experience should be capable of programming the timetable information. LiveSign is designed for International use and is available in various languages (please telephone Hillbrow +44(0)1293 863 663).
What are the benefits? A cost saving aid to the site management as LiveSign will reduce the time taken for staff, or the number of staff directing visitors to an event or meeting. An aid to visitors who can easily see when their event is scheduled and directions where to go.
Operating details: New events can be added to the day's events using the web interface. Description of the event, venue, supplementary text, start time and end time can all be entered. When complete the information entered is automatically checked for any overlap with a previously entered event. Once accepted the event information can be changed at any time and any changes are checked against other events before the changes are confirmed.
Can LiveSign® be integrated? The basic LiveSign system allows for direct entry of event information. For those who wish to import data from other software systems such as a booking system (eg Bookwise) or spreadsheet, additional and/or bespoke plug-in's can be provided.
