Visit the Mayflower Visitor Centre and experience the life and time of Drake and Raleigh along with the more recent war experiences of the World War II when Plymouth was badly damaged. Smell the fresh sea air or take boat trip into the Sound. There are interesting bays around the coastline and not to be missed in July is the Naval Port of Dartmouth especially on Regatta Day.
