Now travel inland a little and find the County town of Truro with its 1910 Cathedral designed by J H Pearson, before passing numerous old tin mines the relics of the now disused tin industry and reaching the Atlantic coast come to the artist area of St Ives, the past home of Sculptor Barbara Hepworth and other twentieth century artists. You are now near Lands End the southern most point in Britain with its craggy coastline. Travel back to the east coast and take in play or a musical at the lovely open air Minack Theatre and continue to Newlyn home of the Newlyn School of Artist before coming to the seaside town Penzance, St Michael's Mount, The Lizard and finally Falmouth were Ocean going Cruise ships regularly call.
